Adults with ADHD

I understand from personal experience that living with ADHD can be a challenging experience at times and can sometimes find people feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood and hopeless.

You may have developed low confidence, or a negative self-image after years of feeling as though you just can’t get on top of life or that you’re not reaching your potential or being able to create the vision you have for your life.

Maybe you feel you have achieved in life but want to get to the next level.

I’d love to partner with you to create greater self-awareness and understanding about your strengths and positive attributes and what works or doesn’t work for you.

I’d love the opportunity to help you focus on those strengths to develop greater self-confidence – to help you really see your own potential and to help you accomplish your goals and dreams, both small and large.

Social Skills

I am a certified PEERS Social Skills Provider and run programs for teens and young adults to enhance their social confidence and help them make and keep friends. Find out more about the 14-week programs for Young Adults and Teens which run twice yearly or the 4-week Dating Skills Intensive here.

I can also work 1-1 with people of all ages to improve their confidence and understanding of how to connect with other people and develop stronger relationships or incorporate this element into our general coaching sessions.

The NeuroACT® Program

The NeuroACT® Program is an evidence-based, 12-week online program, specifically designed and shown to be effective for those in the neurodiverse community, or anyone with high stress levels or mental health problems who wants to focus on mindfulness and stress management.

It teaches essential skills that enable participants to address the unique challenges associated with executive and adaptive functions, so that they can reduce stress and increase their quality of life by being able to do what they want to do in life.

NeuroACT® consists of 12, 90-minute weekly sessions in a small online group setting of 6-12. Sessions are relaxed and fun, allowing everyone to learn in a safe environment, where each session builds upon the previous week.

Parent Coaching

Are you a parent/carer of a child(ren) with ADHD and feeling like you need some support and resources to help you on your journey?

I currently offer two online parenting courses which will assist you with your parenting as a first step. Either course will give you a huge amount of the information you require

However, our parenting journey never ends, and new challenges regularly present themselves. So, if you feel you need more specific, individualised help and support following completion of the parenting course, we can work together with some 1-1 online parent.

If you prefer we can head straight into the 1-1 parent coaching without you completing the online course.

Are you a parent/carer of a child(ren) with ADHD and feeling like you need some support and resources to help you on your journey?

This course, once enrolled, can be started at any time convenient to you.

The Interactive 6-week course runs 4 x year. It covers the same material as the Start Anytime course but also includes additional support in the form of 6 x weekly 1 hour group Zoom calls allowing you to discuss the weekly modules and ask questions with me and other parents on the course, plus an exclusive Facebook group for further interaction. Digital Parenting Program

We also have the Digital Parenting Program that is designed to help and support YOU to navigate the path forward in the challenge of supporting your young person to shift from overusing screens and technology to a healthier relationship with their tech moving forward in their lives.

We have the Start Anytime Digital Parenting Program that provides all of the same content as the Interactive Digital Parenting Program but without the Facebook group and Zoom calls for those that don’t feel they need that extra support.

In the Interactive Digital Parenting Program you’ll have access to online workshops and other exercises designed to help you develop new habits and routines that support your young person’s overall well-being. You’ll be joining me and the others in the current intake for a 6 x 1-hour group Zoom calls to talk through the modules, ask questions, find support and solidarity during the Digital Parenting Program.

FAQ

A: All my coaching is done online.
A: This is up to you, and depends on your individual circumstances. It may be that you need more sessions closer together at first to get you on track and then taper off the sessions. Weekly may be too often, as you won’t have time to implement some of the action steps we discuss, whereas monthly may be slightly too long – if you’ve gotten off track you may need the accountability to right your course or if strategies haven’t worked for you we may need to tweak them and explore a different tack. We can work this out together in our initial session.
A: An ADHD coach is your valuable ally in supporting you to create the life you want. Specifically trained to form a collaborative partnership with you, an ADHD coach will encourage you to learn about yourself and your unique brain wiring, creating greater self-awareness, exploring your strengths and finding ways of getting where you want to go in a way that works for you and so allowing you to make decisions and take the steps needed to create your best life.
A: ADHD Coaching can assist you in navigating all areas of your life including:
  • Family & Parenting
  • Small Business & Entrepreneurs
  • Social & Interpersonal
  • Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Goals
  • Setting & Achieving Goals
  • Digital Wellness
ADHD coaching supports you by:
  • all while keeping in mind the way in which ADHD may be holding you back or challenging you in your life.
  • help you assess where you are, where you want to go, and the steps needed to get you there.
  • collaboratively defining and identifying your goals or ideas and breaking them into smaller, actionable, more manageable tasks.
  • maintain the momentum we’ll create and keep you accountable on following through.
  • We’ll build on your existing strengths and motivations whilst also recognizing how your ADHD symptoms may be challenging your progress and offer support and guidance to overcome those obstacles.
  • Session by session I’ll guide you to develop greater confidence and self-worth, whilst banishing any existing limiting beliefs. Let’s improve your mindset!
  • make suggestions, when appropriate, such as useful tools & resources or further information to increase your existing knowledge which will help move you forward.
You are unique and so is your life journey. ADHD shows up differently for everyone. My approach is completely personalised, and our coaching sessions will be tailored to you and your unique path.
A: Our sessions will be in the form of an honest, open, non-judgemental collaborative partnership. You’ll receive the support and encouragement you need in a totally safe, nurturing environment. I’ll work with you to uncover your unique strengths, talents, values and abilities and thereby your most effective way of doing things. By increasing your self-awareness, self-acceptance and understanding of how ADHD affects your life and implementing strategies that work for you, ADHD coaching can support you to live your best life by addressing your individual challenges.
A: When you select an ADHD Coach, depending on what you need help with, some questions you may like to ask are:
  • What are their credentials? Have they received a basic ADHD coaching credential from a recognised coaching organisation? There is nothing to stop anyone calling themselves an ADHD Coach, so you may want to check their credentials if that’s important to you.
  • Are they supportive and empathetic and do you have a good rapport with them?
  • Do they fully understand ADHD and how that might be getting in the way of you living your best life?
  • Do they understand the impact of ADHD within the family – in a child or young adult?
  • Do they align with your particular values e.g. health & wellness to help you create better habits of health within your life thus optimizing your ADHD brain capabilities?
  • Do they understand the challenges of ADHD in the workplace or as an entrepreneur and can help you to focus on creating your vision whilst also balancing all the other important aspects of your life?
  • Are they someone you feel in alignment with that can support you, through coaching, to further evolve and start living the life you’re looking to create for yourself?

I’ll work with you to support you in banishing your limiting self-beliefs, doubts about your abilities & potential and any overwhelm, to help you to develop a more compassionate self-awareness that will boost your self-confidence and enable you to reach your full potential. Together, using a strengths-based coaching approach, we’ll explore ADHD-friendly strategies that work for you, to move you towards your goals and dreams. I love working with people to help them build a healthier foundation from which to start their journey, and because of my in-depth knowledge of health & wellness, I’m able to offer support in this domain, if and where required. As a solopreneur with ADHD myself, I’m also well-placed to help the many people with ADHD who wish to become entrepreneurs or run their own business, but who need support to achieve or maintain that goal. I’ve already empowered hundreds of parents to learn more about ADHD and parent with more confidence and less stress in their families. I’ve supported many teens & young adults to create greater confidence in their social interactions and start developing & maintaining new friendships & connections. I believe we all have the answers inside of us, we just need that someone who can support us in gaining clarity on what it is we want and how to bring that about in our lives. I believe I can be that someone for you!
