Dr Sarahn Lovett BMedSci, MBBS, GradDipClinEd, FRACP
Sarahn is passionate about all aspects of children’s’ health and welfare, and aims to help families navigate through these challenges. She enjoys seeing children with simple to complex problems, with particular interests in development and following up bubs who have spent time in Neonatal intensive care, medical issues, autism, promoting healthy lifestyles, and kids with chronic and complex conditions.
During her training at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, she was also involved in teaching for the University of Newcastle Medical Program and has completed further studies in Clinical Education. Dr Lovett continues her interest in teaching with being an instructor for the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course and involvement medical students and junior medical trainees at John Hunter Children’s Hospital. She continues to keep up her acute skills by working at the Paediatric Emergency Department on regular basis.
She looks forward to working with and supporting local General Practitioners to care for the kids of the Hunter and Central Coast Regions. Ultimately her goal is to make sure kids, and their families, are happy, safe and as healthy as can be.
