Dr Sangeeta Garg
Dr Sangeeta Garg is a Consultant Paediatrician FRACP, FCP (SA), DTM&H, DCH, MBBS in Blacktown, NSW, Australia.
Sangeeta finds every aspect of Paediatrics fascinating. Her special interests are developmental and behavioural paediatrics, Autism, ADHD, enuresis, allergy and asthma, cardiology, growth, and other endocrine disorders, weight management, diabetes, reflux, and other infant feeding issues.
Sangeeta aims to provide compassionate, caring and knowledgeable care to all the children and families she comes in contact with.
Sangeeta’s work ethic is from her Alma Mater- Christian Medical College, Vellore in India. The basis of her rich knowledge of organic pathology is the grueling training she received in the battlefields of Soweto in Johannesburg in the days when continuous 30-Hour Shifts were the norm. Sangeeta’s expertise in ADHD, Autism and behavioral difficulties in children was gained in her work in Brisbane and Dubbo. Her notable teachers in child psychology have been her own two daughters.
Sangeeta speaks fluent English, Hindi and can understand Urdu and Punjabi. She also knows a few words of Tamil from her years in Vellore.
Sangeeta’s passions are children- helping to make their lives better and to help their parents improve their children’s lives. Sangeeta is also an advocate for children with chronic diseases and from marginalized groups.
She is also passionate about gender equality and the empowerment of girls and women.
Dr Sangeeta consults at Rouse Hill Specialist Centre on a Tuesday every month, at Warnervale Medical Complex every Thursday and at Mariners Medical once a month. Appointments to be seen at these locations can be made by contacting the PSC reception.
