Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) – Understanding and Development with Jen Lewis

November 13 @ 7:00 pm-8:30 pm

Our November speaker is Jen Lewis who will be talking about Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) – Understanding and Development on Thursday 13th November 2025 @ 7pm AEDT.

If you’re part of the ADHD community, chances are you’re all too familiar with the all-consuming experience of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). It’s that deep, intense emotional pain that feels impossible to escape—often triggered by real or even perceived rejection.

But what if there was a way to reshape your relationship with RSD—to move from feeling at its mercy to working dynamically with the flow of RSD and have it play a smaller part in your world.

In this insightful and practical session, Jen Lewis breaks down:

  • Where RSD comes from – the neuroscience behind rejection sensitivity and why ADHD brains are wired for emotional intensity.
  • The trauma overlap with RSD.
  • The hidden forces that feed RSD – including how perfectionism, people-pleasing, risk aversity and poor boundaries keep it thriving.
  • The development path needed to develop out of RSD.

This workshop isn’t just about understanding RSD—it’s about learning how to work with it instead of against it. Jen, an ADHD and trauma-informed coach, shares pivotal insights from her own journey—how she moved from being unknowingly trapped by RSD to creating liberation from RSD. She’ll guide you through the some of the steps she and her clients use to shrink RSD’s grip and build emotional resilience.

You’ll Walk Away With:

A new perspective on your ADHD brain and why it responds so intensely to rejection

Practical strategies to reduce RSD’s influence on your life

Understanding of the long-term development needed for reducing the RSD responses

An upgraded ADHD toolbox to navigate emotions with more ease

This is an interactive, empowering experience designed to help you flourish with ADHD, not fight against it. If you’re ready to stop letting RSD control your emotions and start understanding it as a part of you that you can work with, this workshop is for you!

Professionals attending will receive a Certificate of Attendance to help them keep track of their professional development.
